S&P outlook revisions generally a lagging indicator. They often lower ratings after all the bad news is out and the trend has started to turn.

Gee Gary, now I wonder what brought on a negative outlook rating? Those S&P guys are so far behind the curve, you gotta wonder if they only work a couple days a year, or what?

I wouldn't expect any effect at all the stock, due to these very late, very obvious pronouncements--there's just nothing new there.
