freeus,freeus,freeus.........we are out of synch...you a buyer, me a seller...i find the conservative approach as the sell side...when dell reached max volatility on 2/17...with the common at 82.50, far from the low.....the 01 120 puts paid a $52 premium...today believe the premium only 42....$10, not bad for the moment...yes the experts say you lose opportunity selling puts, call certain positions synthetic longs...who cares...can't spend opportunity and the premium received from the dell puts allowed me to go long 2000 dell...long up...puts down..synthetic perhaps...but a many bagger...give the strategy some thought...it allows with your prediliction to buy calls, the ability to do so with someone elses money....

learn the secret of being on the sell side...the odds are with you..
as long as you set the position in the direction of the dynamic...

good luck...end your mourning..at least in the bought back dell covered positions...it's going to break out to perhaps 70 by mid year...providing no external forces prevent...ed a.
