OT (kinda) -- Thanks, there must be something wrong with the world; so many people agree on the future prospects <g>. For example, myown work says that we can climb another 5~8% in 3~5 weeks and form a top there. Jerry Favors was on CNBC last Friday and said essentially the same thing. Now I hear this from the Fed which (indirectly) indicates that the stocks can go up another 8% before a crash. Message 8212485 When everyone says the same thing it never happens. Playing this market is certainly getting harder everyday.

BTW, someone said that he hopes that when the big boys bail out of the market, he hopes that the individual investors stay. I wonder how much influence the individual investor really has over the market given that (a) 80% of the assets are held by 20% of the population (of whom I may add none posts here <G>) and (b) it is always the marginal change that effects the market (i.e a 5% withdrawl by the big boys from the market may cause a 30% drop in stocks, even if individuals stay put).

Keep in mind, that the advantage of position trading over "investing" is that I don't have to worry too much about being wrong on my market calls since I don't fight the tape. Market view only shapes what things I am on the look out for.
