D. G. Jewellery to be Exclusive Jewelry Source On Go2Net

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1999--D. G. Jewellery of Canada Ltd. (Nasdaq:DGJLF - news) one of North America's largest jewelry manufacturers, today announced an agreement with Go2Net, Inc. (Nasdaq:GNET - news), a network of branded, technology and community driven Web-sites, establishing the jewelry manufacturer as the exclusive source of jewelry sales on its network.

Online sales will be conducted through D. G. Jewellery's exclusive online partner, Xitejewelry.com scheduled to launch in May.

Under terms of the agreement, Xitejewelry.com, the online partner of Toronto based D. G. Jewellery (Nasdaq:DGJLF - news), will be prominently featured across the Go2Net Network (http://www.go2net.com/) and its most popular destinations, including Silicon Investor (http://www.techstocks.com/). The agreement will provide access to D. G. Jewellery's products to one of the Internet's most trafficked sites, representing many millions of targeted consumers. Go2Net currently receives over 23 million hits a month. Other major Internet retailers and partners include Barnes and Noble (NYSE:BCS - news) and uBid (Nasdaq:UBID - news).

Product categories will include rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants. Metals featured will include platinum, 18K, 14K and 10K gold and sterling silver. The jewelry will contain diamonds and precious and semi-precious stones. Prices will range from U.S. $30 dollars to U.S. $30,000 dollars.
