Yep!!

You know why?

Because BAD news sells.

Why write about a company that is 70% compliant, and their achivements to get there, better to dwell on the remaining 30% that is NOT compliant.

Why write that Y2K won't be hell? How many papers are you going to sell? Y2K needs hype to keep the interest.

Not much point in telling Cheeky to take his nap. This kid is
going to sleep walk right into the next millennium. Unfortunately,
his condition is often accompanied by talking in ones sleep as
he has so ably demonstrated. It will be much more dangerous
for him I fear than for those of us with our eyes open.
