It all goes to the basic fundamental that the financial press and analysts seem to be finally getting over the past six months.

Yes, chips in PC's under $1,000 are low end, with lower margin.

However, Intel actually makes money on each CELRON it makes while AMD loses money on each K6 it makes and from the most recent news it doesn't appear this will change except AMD can look forward to losing money with the K7.
