Dale, the timing plays are PART of a bigger package. . in a perfect world. AXC gets lots of news and sometimes this news is pretty big. Thinking in terms of several weeks or even a month is how these timing plays are designed. But putting all funds in one stock and waiting is a bit like watching paint dry. If you liked them both, perhaps you should have followed your convictions. the other is very thinly traded. . .we were all hoping for it to dip down below 2.50 or even fall to 2.00 where it would have been extremely attractive in the longer term. Perhaps today it will fall back more. A SAM is stealth accumulation mode, where we are discrete in the stocks we are buying. . .we don't tell others, post elsewhere and are fairly 'quiet' about it even here on our own thread, often using the wrong symbol. . .using the company name instead of the symbol or referring to it in a way that we all know but others would not. . .this is mostly for these reasons. . . Makes it hard for full-text searches to show accumulation. Guarantees that we get our price, before the crowds arrive. Guarantees that we get our quantities, before the price rises. Allows us the opportunity of selling at our leisure when the stock becomes a momentum play and volume hits it. Allows us with some, to sell half our shares at a double and hold only free shares into a momentum . . .like hundreds here did with PRFM and others. As you can see, the advantages are substantial.
