Re: Seriously though, this AMD warning thing has gotten a little old hasn't it?? I think AMD should save themselves a lot of press releases by only warning if they are going to show a profit. After all, this would be, by far, the exception rather than the rule.

Actually I am quite glad that they are much more forthcoming than they have been in the past: it shows much more class than just hiding behind a blank wall.

Personally, I was expecting a small loss for the quarter and had not expected over 5M units for Q1.

So all in all there is some good news in the release as well as the projection for a significant loss for Q1.

On the NAZ issue I expect AMD's release to be a non-event.
