I don't own RNWK. I put too much money into ATHM last year. I don't want to diversify too much. There are too many good stocks to choose.
Sometimes I feel like a kid entering a candy store. However, with my limited resources, I choose to bet on those proven winners. My money is evenly divided among the following six:
ATHM, YHOO, EBAY, CSCO, MSFT, INTC.
I plan to hold them for 5 years. I guess I can't go wrong with this allocation.

I can tell you that the latest buzz from Lakewood, CO was an outage lasting for approximately 4 days?! Longest outage so far; I have had the service for 7 months now. First time I called I had to wait 2 hrs before I got through to a rep. After the usual end-user equipment checks, Network config and resync of the modem, the rep finally came to the obvious conclusion that the node was down. Took them one day to fix it. One day later, after the initial fix was done, it broke down again...this time I called early in the morning to escalate the problem. Took them another day to get it back up again.

Network seems to be "cleaner" now and yesterday I tried downloading some stuff to check the speed. Had an average speed of 1Mbs with bursts of 3Mps. So far so good.

I think @Home is entering a stage of growing pain. Evidence of that is the fact that it took me 2 hrs to get through to a decent rep and some outages.

I myself, as a visionary, have no problem with outages and some bad service. After all @Home is barely touching the mass market, but when it does I hope they have learned from their mistakes of not-so-good customer service and network outages as the mass market won't be as patient as we are.

Don't know if this has been posted here already, but here is a link to a good tool to keep track of your network connection:
