Carole, can't help you with technical advice - but I can tell you that with cable modem (COX) using proxy server the latest software works just fine. Good luck.

Hi Carole,
This is a PM I got from another BrowseMaster user having trouble with setting up BrowseMaster to use a proxy server.

Regards,
Craig

I got it to work. The hard part was when went to Edit/Perferences/Advanced/Proxies I didn't see anything about "Exceptions" because I was configured to for Automatic Proxy. When I selected Manual and THEN SELECTED VIEW I could see the Exceptions box.

However, after I programmed Exceptions for 127.0.0.1 I still had to figure out that I needed to copy the URL from the Automatic box back to HTTP on the manual page. I suggest that you clarify this in your instructions to help future people.
