New strong-sell/short sell recommendation: VLNC

Valence technologies claims to have a super battery based on a "Lithium Polymer" technology. Problem is that the company can never seem to come up with a commercially viable product. However, the company excels at selling stock to the same sort of people who invest in other scientific marvels such as TRBD and perpetual-motion machines. The company has a multiple-year track record of 0 revenues and large losses.

Note that the stock seems heavily promoted, but the float is large - and I had no trouble finding stock to borrow. Options are also available.
