PRELIMINARY RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 OCTOBER 1998

GlobalWave

GlobalWave, our joint venture with Wave Systems Corporation ("Wave Systems"), has enjoyed an exciting year. Wave Systems' unique secure digital media distribution technology has attracted a number of major European media groups. The company has also forged a number of extremely important partnerships and alliances with industry leaders such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Sun Microsystems, who have recognised the significance of the technology in the emerging digital economy.

The market has also been quick to recognise the enormous potential of Wave Systems' technology with the result that its share price has risen, at the time of writing, to well over US$8. ITG holds one million warrants to purchase Wave Systems stock at US$1.75, which at the current share price could realise a potential gain of almost US$6.5 million - substantially more than the price paid by ITG to license Wave Systems' technology. I will make sure that our shareholders are kept informed of all relevant developments on this front.
