Uh, oh. Everybody wants to be charitable but no one wants to quote the Bible.

The Bible says, "Don't set your heart on wealth, nor say 'I have enough'." This discussion is a little like 'charity is either giving up or giving out.' It's neither. People weren't given all the instincts that the good lord above gave the animal kingdom, so it's discriminatory to think that it's the human's responsibility to solve all the problems. For instance, only one animal in the animal kingdom will instinctively go out of its way to put out fires. It's not the human. I'm aware there are volunteer firefighters, but they had to start somewhere, they didn't just come running one day.

The Bible also says, "A sinner takes twice what he's offered." Who has the right to come back for more? The sinner.
