Sarmad -- <Have you been using your money flow stuff for a while ? How has it worked in guiding your ACTUAL trades?> Well, I have been trading options since 1993-94. I don't have a tally, but I would say probably 200 trades per year, counting each order as a trade -- so I guess it must be something like 700 trades -- is that what you mean by actual trades? Money flow stuff? You mean follow the money and all that? I like turnarounds best. I have done well on turnarounds using leaps. Did well playing IBM from about $45 presplit. But I also bought calls on the utility index once, just barely out of the money -- lost the whole thing going into an expiration -- cost me about $200,000. Lost about $80,000 with a similar smart move on calls on Chrysler a long while back. Lost money on HWP puts....etc. etc But a little more often I made money. I have defintely have had ups and downs. Worst year cost me a million. Best year made more than a million. Hell, I have lost money on AMZN twice before making it back in that last run down. Listen, you can't blame me for standing aside on AMZN, I just felt it was time for a break. I will get back in when I feel it is right.
