Paul, on amusing descriptive terms such as "plight" and "penalties" I would add "worries", "woes" and my all time favorite comes from CBS MarketWatch which recently said that Intel had "the shivers." I also like when a piece of trivial news is seen as "a blow" or even better "the latest blow" or "the latest in a series of blows". Sounds like a prize fight. A blow. Ouch! The latest in a series of blows and woes added to the plight, concerns, and worries causing shivers amongst Intel traders as they contemplated government imposed anti-trust penalties. I view most of these market pundits as good trailing indicators.
