JT, I got a message from him, not a direct communication. I was on a bus to Boston noon the next day. Rather than return to the outskirts of Boston (where I just moved), I went back to Cambridge and was away from a computer for five days.

There's something else you have to consider, and this is an important distinction: I do not, like you do, relate to him with a suspicion in mind.
