Please excuse my vacuous remarks. Your direct experience allows you to understand things more profoundly than I. But, come to think of it, on-line furniture would eliminate alot of schlepping around. It would almost certainly require an integrated fulfillment system, yes?

Another debate ensues as to wether or not this streamlining is really profitable enough to embrace. Where is that Glenn?

I agree with you completely, here. The reason I buy Dell computers is my confidence in their quality. It has nothing to do with their build to order or anything like that.
