Yo Sleuth ... nice find!! This company must have been one of those who had one of the development boards. Would be to see a link to PTSC.

They did have the following on their roadmap page:

1999.6 Port TeaPot to one of another Java chip, StrongArm
chip and PSC1000 chip.

I'm not sure of their numbering scheme, so I don't know if this is a target date of June 1999 (it might be since their "download" page says they are still working on the x86 version - which has a 1999.4 date).

Hopefully when they get the ports done PTSC will get some benchmark data, etc., from them.

P.S. I'm getting the "feeling" that the real value of our chip may be capitalized on more by non-US companies than those in the US. No real reason for thinking this, but I wonder if those who could use the chip are waiting for Sun, Intel, IBM, etc., to come up with a "java processor" and are just not paying attention to PTSC. If so, then I hope this is another "VCR-like" technology that (SH)booms overseas before others realize what is happening.
