Central Asian Goldfields, World wide minerals, and Khazakstan Goldfields all had some prety high hopes as well, Even invested considerable sums of money into their venutres, only to have them effectively confiscated by the government of Khazakstan. Go ahead and run your keyword search on the aforementiojned companies. You'll find that the risk in Khazakstan is not just perceived, but is very real. I don't believe it is a question of whether the natural resources are there, It is a question of who gets to keep them. In that regard, I also believe that there is a big difference between a Mobil, or an ARCO and a startup like CGZ, KGFC, or even LEAH. A Mobil or an ARCO carries considerable clout, whereas a Junior could be looked at as a pocket ready to be picked. Not that much different than the way it used to be on the playground.
