An anecdotal sales survey. It's a little light relief from the Yahoo Club Thread to counter-balance some of the scab-picking on this thread.

Did my little survey again and the results were the same as last week BIGGGGGG.Best BUY said they can't get enough Compaqs in to sell.At Compaq works sales people said sales were up for FEB and geting better in MAR.The check out girl said that Presidents weekend was like Christmas rush.there was about 200 to 300 people there at 11 AM on SAT.By the way every pc that was sold also had a printer leaving with the customer. One guy had his truck backed up to the front door loading up new computers for the department store he worked for. So where is the slow down? Hype, BS ,Hype Wall street knows ,just like the shadow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bye, I'm getting to serious.

Here is a shot at TA from the Yahoo Club Thread. We could do with a credible TA on the thread - where is Christopher?

The chart appears to be improving:

iqc.com rt1=ma&i0=3&i1=6&i2=4&i3=1&s=linear&symbol=cpq

we have convergence in stochastics (hopefully it will begin to run up...80 or above is bullish)

MACD apears to have bottomed but has yet to confirm the stochastic signal.

Momentum has stopped going down.

I think we are banging our heads against the 200 day moving average. Hopefully we can close above $34.50 and declare the MA as support rather than resistance.

FYI: If you look at the chart the original SELL signal was issued mid-january after bouncing off $50 3/8 when MACD began it's downward trek. As you can see it was confirmed by stochastics. However false signals had been issued in late December so I chose to ignore these. The real indicator was that the stock REFUSED to stay above it's 50 day MA.

I feel so stupid for not being more analytical. I fell in love with this stupid thing and denied that it was fully valued. The street obviously disagreed.

For 2 cents I'll tell you that I think we will move up slowly and not be truly rewarded until sequential earnings imporvements are reported and VERIFIED! The street loves us.

Ho Hum...

PS: If you want the stock to go up quicker just buy me out and watch her run!!!
