Yea Blake things are different from a year ago..... Or are they....... still folks out pushing the scams I lost 30k in pennys a year ago this same time March to June Smarter but wiser now :)) LT

Wow ! What wonderful, exciting and horrible memories.......geeez....... I lost about $9600 on MTEI....I was buying more shares right until the day before the halt. ( thought I was averaging down <g>)..... oh well...... I was angry at everyone involved in this scam....and then something happened inside me. I decided that I wasn't going to be a "statistic loser" in the penny stock game......I was gonna learn from all this......and I did. I made back my losses on a "real" stock....and at that point I decided to sell my 25K shares to balance the gain for tax reasons. I got back a whopping $105.04 when I sold my MTEI shares. Did I learn anything from all this?????? Yessirree, I surely did. I love investing and trading stocks and I don't want to have to stop because of my own foolishness. I no longer fall in love with a stock.......I've tried to discipline myself to only play in stocks (real stocks) that I wouldn't mind getting "stuck in" for a while.........and those that have good potential.....long term.....so, I've been OK. But, this whole experience and the lessons that came with it couldn't have been learned any other way for me............not from any classes or books, surely. I don't expect that the SEC or anyone else will ever do anything about all this........... I've written off the monetary loss a long time ago............but, the lessons learned......never.
