I heard it was not-so-SmartMedia. Let's hope I am wrong.

This really burns me up. SanDisk announces the CompactFlash slot in the new Compaq Aero 2100 then Compaq goes and buddies up with a different vendor for flash cards (see bottom of page).

I typed the following into the Alta Vista browser on Yahoo...

"creative labs mp3 player compact flash"

I found no relevant matches, but did get a banner advertising Lexar's CompactFlash cards. Try it out yourself.
