Michael, enjoyed reading your post. You have a gifted way of putting things. Although it doesn't make you right, I agree with your assessment.

These movement of these stocks will test the fortitude of every threader. But if we can somehow manage to keep our long-term perspectives, we'll do just fine, IMO.

Absolutely right. And after a time, the people who would rather spend their time spamming inets will ultimately realize that they are the ones left behind. This isn't a tulipmania story, it's the sour grapes fable. This is the future and it is unlike anything that has happened to the world economy since the industrial revolution.
