Rule #1, Never, Never, Never bet against Billion $ Bill. Msft and the q will have better products soon enough. The article SHOULD read:

What's really troubling Symbian's mighty parents, mobile phone powers Nokia, Ericsson, Motorola, and British handheld-computer maker Psion PLC, is they are up against the guys with all the brains, Microsoft and Qualcomm. "How long can we continue to dupe the public with our inferior products? Sooner or later they (the investment community) will figure it out and we'll all be begging at Qualcomm's doorstep for jobs", said an un-named executive of Ericcson. "I could get used to living in San Diego" said another executive from Nokia. "I'm confused, what are we talking about?" babbled an executive from Motorola.
