Jon,
re your 2946, again, I disagree profoundly. I fortunately can buy any stock that I choose to buy. Let me give you an example which may shed some light on my philosophy.
I own stock in Berkshire Hathaway. The last I looked at it, it was selling for $72,330. I don't look at it often. Warren Buffet and his organization are running it. Enough said, correct?
Mr. James Gayle is running Microphonics. Six months ago the stock was selling for less than 30 cents a share. Correct?
Give me one VALID reason why I should not want to know much more about Mr. Gayle's ability than Mr. Buffet's ability?
I am not here to "micromanage" this company. I would feel more comfortable if I were managing it.
I am here to LEARN everything I can learn about an unknown company. Can you come up with a plausible reason why this is not prudent?
