What I meant was that there would be an agreement in which both sides won, neither "lost", and they both decided to drop the animosity...

Makes sense. And it sure is encouraging that these articles keep referring to all the progress that's being made on IPR within "the community"

looking ahead, assuming ERICY and QCOM battle would soon be history, wouldn't the next hurdle be ATT? Wouldn't they be out in left field by themselves? What would be their logical path to migrate to 3G?
