victor, victor, victor........ I have great respect for you, but take off the rose-coloured glasses! There is nothing "rational" about this stock's potential bottom, resistance levels show no sign of change, DELL shows no sign of fading, there will be no "sounds" from the company, etc., etc. And as to 50 by earnings??? It's too early to know what the actual earnings date will be, but I'll take a guess at April 28th. I think we'll be closer to 45 than 35 on that date. Why and what will it take? The sell off is overdone. The market is high and, for some stocks (mostly inet) quite frothy, people are sitting on the trigger hoping to get out before the door gets locked. However, with CPQ, the door is not closing. Sorry false alarm. As we get closer to earnings news will start to come out that the "PC slowdown" stories of early March were exaggerated and that will float the boxmakers towards the end of April. Balloon likes to float (theories). jbjbjbjb

Victor, very nice summary of upcoming weeks and months for CPQ. It did cheer me up a bit, until I realized how difficult it will be for CPQ to follow your story! Your quick turn around by earnings time does not seem to do-able, but if it is, we should see some sign of life very soon. Right now this stock is on life support with no breathing found!!! I'd love to start breathing myself. I probably should stop watching the daily ticks for about 3-4 weeks. Nice positive spin anyhow...thanks! I'm a rootin'! Howie
