A couple of interesting coincidences...

A few weeks ago, I compared EMC (the stock) to Dell (the stock)....EMC (now) being the equivalent of Dell (circa spring 1998)..

- Based on past stock performance (three years), PE/Growth rate, type of co., industry, etc...(that enough for now..)

So, goes the theory, EMC was a buy in the 90's...so I got in....

Now, the coincidences..

Last spring.....Dell bounced around for 3 weeks after I bought it (just like EMC)..some up...some down from the purchase price......
3 weeks after I bought Dell last year, Fortune came out with a cover story on Dell.. and the day I saw it on the newsstands.......and the day that preceded it and followed it (and, to a lesser extent, the next few days)...and, even the next month...Dell surged...

Yesterday, I (finally) saw the Ruettgers and EMC on the cover of Business Week...and now the surge (right before and after I saw the cover).....

So far...I like the coincidences...

I'll take 170% this year (on EMC!), like Dell last year...........Actually, I'd be happy with 25% more this year from these levels...Best....
