DEmand for the silver auto batteries should be very high in the trucking business. Any reduction in weight is always welcome. THe silver batteries are supposed to last a little longer in standard use but are more durable and less likely to break internally through vibration, agitation, and rough road conditions. Most lead acid batteries in heavy trucks do not last their expected life.
