El: I didn't mean "by earnings". I said by mid-April. And I also said "spike". One scenario could be that we have had an announcement of a content provider, positive noises coming out about earnings, some good results from other companies, and the stock runs up to spike to $47-50 before earnings, like last time. I would be a bit worried that CPQ will downplay 2nd qtr earnings at the CC. We might then see a dip.

Another scenario is that we build up a strong trading range from, lets say, $41-46, before earnings and then earnings are so good that we get a powerful spike to $50 plus (before settling back).

Re: Fine glass. You are more knowledegable than I. We have a long-running show here on TV on Sunday's "The Antiques Road Show" - it travels all around Britain and Holland and people bring in their antiques for evalaution. There is usually a specialist on glass and pottery. At Harrods you can watch a craftsman from some of the traditional English potteries or workshops - Doulton etc finishing off products by hand.

I live just around the corner from Sothebys and often go in to look at the stuff awaiting auction, and there are many shops in that area which I'm sure would delight you. The Victoria and Albert Museum is stuffed with wonderul stuff some of it belonging to Queen Victoria and it includes original Faberge and other fine objects.
