I suppose it was somewhat rude and probably sparked by a combination of my frustration with SSPIF and my frustration with people who whine and attack others when they are losing money in a stock.

I don't think that anyone on the thread owe's anyone else an explanation as to why they are losing money. No one forced anyone else to buy SSPIF and hold it as it dropped. No one has any inside information (I don't think) that keeps them in or out of SSPIF. We all have the level of knowledge about its prospects that we choose to have (depending upon how much research we do).

I personally agree with you that the truck not showing up at the dock was a cop-out (in fact, it was one of several factors that caused me to lighten up on my position at a substantial loss).

Sometimes good people get out of line (verbally abusive, etc.) when they are down in a stock. I just think that these people would be better off with a safer investment that doesn't keep them up at night. I don't take a casual attitude toward management not delivering on its promises, but I try not to get emotional about it either. I wish all of us who are in SSPIF nothing but the best.

Ian

WT- My 2c-

Ian's comment may have been a bit condescending, but it was not antagonistic- certainly not by the standards of SI. Andy has graced this thread a series of uninformative messages bleating about how sick he is about this stock. He has offered no real insight into the company or its stock's performance. Ian's comment- condescending or not- was direct, but not hostile. Moreover, he may well be right.

Ian made no comment suggesting investors should not be concerned when management does not meet its declared expectations.
