<<Is this rally going to 10000 or is this distribution going on?>>
The best way to answer is that I DON't Want it to go to 10,000! But it may. However it looks like a distribution to me. Don't know if this morning's rally is an attempt to take out (short) stops or real. It doesn;t look like it takes much to move the markets either way. Indicative of some sort of liquidity crunch. JMO!

Mark, unlike Mohan, I do not have a wish list that include the DOW above or below 10,000. Sure if the DOW breaches 10,000, it will be an ego blower to my poor turnips (they said this rally will produce only a "marginal" new high on the DOW and no new high in the NAZ), however, I completely agree with Mohan that this looks extremely narrow and distributive (only 70 to 80 new highs on the NYSE with two days in new high territory at least intraday? And quite a large number of new lows around 50)

Mark: Above, the two resident wizzards have spoken....far be it
from me to disagree with either one...I have a great deal of real
respect for their opinions. That said, let me point out to you that -
the market can and will do what it takes to confound the many.....
We all form opinions based on experience and current knowledge....
sometimes...the latter is lacking. By that I mean that there are
often currents under the tide that are not often apparent at a given
instance. Even if seen - they are often dismissed because no
RATIONAL explanation exists - AT THAT MOMENT................
