Yes Walt....depends on how you read it....I didn't have the same spin on that NR..... it could have been much clearer....guess we'll have to wait but wonder if anyone else has had any clarification from Winspear....

Regards

Hi Walt, Sudhir has a WSP update out. Apparently the delays in the ice road and the exceptionally warm weather have taken a bite out of the work schedule. THerefore they will concentrate on getting the work done that has to be done from the lake ice first.
Apparently they are well advanced in bagging and tagging the bulk sample from two locations on the NW dyke.
Samples from other locations may be done a little later or even next summer.
The three drills are now working west to East on the lake surface, turning up tonnage and further geological info for their model.
As the drills approach the eastern parts of the lake they may start to zero in on something.

Hi Walt.

They say that this area is the thinned out up dip limits of the dyke. Does this not mean to say they have found the edge of the dyke on the North shore? This could be good news as they at least know where to look now. Perhaps it is just this edge which is very near surface which is so thin. I believe most of the rest of the dyke intersections have been consistant 2.5 or so meters thick. Perhaps they will back away from this location a ways and find a slightly thicker portion now that they know the dyke is there.

At what depth do you think they could sample before depth became prohibitive? I tried to call the company to get some clarification but everyone is out for the day they will be back tommorrow.

Andy

Hi Walt, according to Sudhir's release I understand it to say they are taking 6000t from 2 pits attached to the existing ones.
Lake drilling proceeding well at 200ft intervals.
An old PR did mention the footage they were going to drill and it worked out to 85% of the drilling is to be done to define what they feel they have and probably concentrate on pre-feasability. 15% for north shore, etc.. Looks to me like n.shore is not good at this time for a bulk, but as you said, a mini bulk might be extracted.
It's thinning out on the n.shore and that's expected somewhere I guess, but if they define eastward, downdip for 2 kms, hopefully the thickness won't thin out but thicken at certain points.
I can't figure it out, but if we go 1,300 ft along strike and 2km east, that should define more than we need in tonnage, right?
