I know you follow TA, but doesn't amzn depend more on brokers than on TA ?

Most stock action is governed by TA.
Off course, it's quite possible for the unexpected to happen e.g. restatement of results (but even that can be detected in the price action when 'insiders' are distributing the stock)
MMs can and do manipulate stocks.... but these are thinly traded stocks and not so much liquid stocks like AMZN.
It's difficult to manipulate a stock that trades millions of shares a day.
