Hi John : Lets find some common ground. Would you agree with the statements that the Holy Spirit is more like a laser guided smart bomb than a shotgun. We are talking about manifestations of the Holy Spirit, gifts of the spirit. ( for right now lets not even mention baptism ). That being said, there is so much power associated with the Holy Spirit and His agenda that a person is usually gifted or anointed on a select basis; in other words for specific kingdom tasks. Once a specifif task is accomplished the Holy Spirit moves on to a different individual or a different anointing for the same individual. In this way, no one christian becomes irreplaceable, God stays in charge, and different individuals in the body of Christ rely always on God and on each other as well..... In Christ..gregor
