If you want to understand the recent weakness in U.S. Bonds, look no further. More of this to come, Greenspan's cheerleading notwithstanding.

This is also one of the factors supporting gold (it's no coincidence that the last time gold moved higher, then from $273, LTCM was in need of a Fed organized bailout). It also sets the stage for one hek of a stock market crash in the U.S.

Still, one question remains: is Japan willing to print unlimited yen to save its lenders as well as U.S. Hedge funds?
