Kidz.net identifies the best Internet sites for children and families, catering to a variety of age groups. Kidz.net's sites are inspected and updated daily to ensure appropriate content for the target audience. Kidz.net is an Intranet, having its own server controlling the contents. Navigation is provided by a unique browser, specifically designed for children for easy access to over 500,000 sites, such as educational games, study links, sports, toys, hobbies, and information on the latest community events in each localized area. Additionally, the New South Wales Government has recognized Kidz.net as providing safe, appropriate content for children.
Promotion for Kidz.net is being provided by Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) franchises throughout Australia as part of a national campaign, selling discounted starter kits and access licenses.
