Jeff: He didn't go into that level of detail. I was primarily curious as to how they were going to get any revenue at all from a piece of software that is downloaded for free.

From my understanding, the entire retailer's "license fee" goes to PINC. Not just a percentage. I could be wrong, though. Once I heard that the revenue was coming from retailer licensing and not "sale" of the software, I disconnected (mentally).

Using that concept, the retailer pays once for the "transmission rights" (Hey, I had to use SOME term, so why not that one?). After that, every time the TV ad airs, the signal gets sent and PCs across the country will automatically pop up the appropriate webpage. I guess "Joe CouchPotato" will then have to drag his sorry butt out of his easy chair to see what's for sale.

I wonder if there is a way to track the number of website hits that are generated by a single "transmission"? Otherwise, how will there be any marketing feedback with respect to the success of the program?

Humbly report, Jeff, now that we know how PINC plans to cash in on the WebChoice bonanza, I believe we can keep an eye on the WebChoice Parners/Clients page - webchoicetv.com - and see what progress PINC is making in hustling up some new biz.

So far, since the PINC announcement, I believe nothing new there.

Cheers,

Svejk
