My first impression on the conversation with the CFO is, this falls under the classification of insider info. I have doubts that this ever took place. I don't think that any CFO would compromise himself or the company, by giving this info to a select few and not making it public, and setting themselves up for a class action lawsuit. Another point, if the CFO would have given me this info I wouldn't be buying this stock, period. I'm sorry to doubt you here, and will be the first to apologize, if indeed this turns out to be true.
