First of all, I want to say that ATHM is one of my favorite 18 stocks I track along with EMC,DELL,WCOM,AOL,TLAB,CSCO,PFE,HD,MSFT,EBAY,YHOO,CMGI,BCST,RNWK,MSPG,WMT,and LU Yes, I use the World Wide Web since it is my only option currently. I am waiting for the incredibly higher speed to hit my area but it's not here yet. The reason I mentioned AOL is because it's probably as well positioned as anyone to compete with ATHM if it comes out with competitive technology. It's a safe assumption to say others are trying too. Obviously ATHM is ahead of the rest, but in my view they are NOT a sure thing. A 10 week chart really doesn't mean that much when you could look at charts of many of the NET current leaders (EBAY,CMGI,YHOO,ATHM) and they all look great now. It is also not fair to compare it to DELL because DELL has many serious competitors, and it is in an established industry that has been around for a long time. Maybe saying it could be an "incredible bust" was a stretch, but if if you feel ATHM will definitely continue to dominate I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. If it makes you feel better for me to apologize for saying it "could be an incredible bust" than I'll apologize. I'm not going to throw child like comments like "If you knew what you were writing about" or "Do you have a complex" out here on the thread because for me this is usually a pleasant experience and these insulting tassles are meaningless. For what it's worth, I've been looking at picking up a few shares of CMGI,ATHM, and RNWK. I also do own AOL and still view it at the safest so called blue chip net stock, if there is such a thing.
