I'm afraid CPQ is not a reference. They stuffed the channel and blew out Q4 earnings by 5 cents and now what ... same as last year. In fact, I'm more worried about DELL's numbers (revenues). I believe that it is hard for DELL to lie on revenues with their direct model. I'm not bullish nor bearish on the PC industry, right now. I'm afraid that Y2K will cause a slowdown because IT managers will freeze any change made to system already tested for the bug. Will see... P.S.: I currently hold DELL. My only PC stock.
