What a drag---these rumors won't go away. I guess we have to wait it out. Once the "rumor period" is over, the move should be very rapid leading up to the April 11 split and then the earnings.

Hoping for a quick ending to this week, at least far as Intel is concerned.

Is it just me, or does this

14:01 ET Intel Corp (INTC) 117 -2 5/8 (-2%): Goldman Sachs issues "technical sell" rating on issue. However, firm's investment rating remains a "recommended list buy."

sound like a BLATANTLY transparent move to create an artificial buying opportunity.

Let's see.....Intel is one of our recommended list buy's..and uhhm....we'd love to be able to put some of our clients into INTC at a good price...'wink...wink.. nudge, nudge....say no more', so why don't we tell everyone to SELL!! so we can buy the shares cheaper. Yup....that should do the trick :-) Yeah what a great friggin idea...well say it's a "technical sell" wink wink nudge nudge.

Paul,
You know that isn't true.

I admit, I'm a bit frustrated by Intels arrogance concerning the CPU-ID. I guess they bowed to Bill Gates and are in the precarious postion of being a policeman now.
