Sorry about the joke. It was (and is) meant in good fun. One of the nice things about this thread is that the tenor of discussion is usually friendly. On the subject of seasonality, I think that there are seasonal factors to PC demand that have been hidden (e.g., in Dell's case until the current quarter) by explosive unit growth. However, I buy the arguments of local threadsters Earlie and MB that the current slump is bigger than that -- and so far, almost every marginal piece of information, except maybe AMD's production problems, fits that explanation.
