Tony - Re: "Pisani said same "

I call him Gas Can Bob - if there's spark or a small fire, he throws GAS on it to get it roaring.

On the flip side, if the market or a stock is doing well, he ALWAYS whines "but the volume is light" of that "market breadth is poor".

Too bad he can't find a better job.

Paul

Tony,

If I could watch any other channel but CNBC I would, but it's a love-hate relationship. I hate their brand of so-called, even-handed Hearstian journalism. I love to get to see and hear some really smart people that they allow me to see - Larry Kudlow, Cramer, Abbey, Joe Battapaglia, Siedman and others. The ones I can't stand are the ones they give a lot of time to that have been wrong for years. The bear-creeps that Paul just referred too are two. It's not that I don't like bears, it's just that I am waiting to hear a credible case from them. All I hear is nonsense, rumor-mongering and MUCH SELF SERVING BS.

As far as the reporters themselves go, comsi comsa. I like Haines, Kernan, Faber and David but NONE of them really seems to clearly understand what is going on in the ongoing pc revolution. Maria is ok at times but her opening is a bit too frantic.

Sorry for the off-topic rant. Just using the thread to let off some steam.

I think the rumor will die down soon - hopefully by Friday. At least EMC & LU and some others made me happy today.
