So what happens tomorrow? Intel goes up in the morning. Sells off late day but more and more bargain hunters will be coming out.
The end result---finish above today's level.
It is just too unpredictable until we get near April, when we should be seeing all time highs.

I think it can be easy to expect the effect of the settlement and Amd's troubles to be reflected in the stock price in the short term, but that the actual impact is ultimately not realized for some time. One way to look at it is that the resistance to Intel's future appreciation in value is made less powerful. This doesn't necessarily mean that the upward pressure would be felt presently.

Instead I think all this rumor-mongering and "technical" bs needs to shake out, and the big picture to become apparent to the masses of investors. What that big picture will be is obviously still up for vigorous debate, but more clues will come in due time.
