Where do you get the information about number of orders at each price?

Me thinks you spend too much time watching the ticker. You see the tree but miss the forest perhaps?

Having said that if you are day-trading millions of dollars, I can see why you would be so interested in technical blips but if you are investing few thousands of dollars like most of us, surely this type of hyper analysis of day trading is irrelevant?

These trades are done by small investors like you & I so trying to discern some sort of pattern, or inside information out of the daily trading stats seem to me a waste of time? So called omnipotent Mr. Market is nothing more than bunch of small time confused and scared retail investors that are reacting to daily movements of YF stocks (it's called lemming effect). I would put my money on guys like Lynch, Buffet, Soros any day over Mr. Market and none of those 3 guys look at buy sell stats every day.
