that all is very tricky...
first - depends on whether stock has been already moving on rumor..
stocks can still run on news, just if the news comes when people
were not prepared for the news and came as a surprise..
first thing wayne and myself do when we see a good news story is check if there is a lot of conversation on the threads, second we
check how the stocks has been doing the last 2 weeks prior to release.
second- sell off, sometimes there is rumor of news, and news in not perceived by many to be that groundbreaking and they sell...
remember sometimes people are expecting the ground to move when they read news and was not what they hoped for..
VHSN- FOR EXAMPLE..WAS NOT A LOT OF TALK BEFORE NEWS,SO I THOUGHT NEWS COULD PUSH IT HIGHER..BUT IF YOU CHECK THERE WAS A RUN UP (SMALL AMOUNT BUT ENOUGH VOLUME)THAT MADE BE THINK IT COULD NOT GO HIGHER...
BUT I WOULD SAY THEY TOOK THEIR PROFITS AND SOLD WHEN WE BOUGHT IN AND WE GOT LEFT HOLDING THE BAG....I LIKE THE COMPANY SO I BOUGHT MORE AT 5/8...NOW WE WILL SEE WHAT THE NEXT NEWS OR RUMOR WILL DO..
(NOT SAYING A WORD ON THIS SUBJECT RIGHT NOW-JUST ALL HEARSAY IN MY MIND UNTIL I SEE IT)
