MedcomSoft Inc - MDCM MedcomSoft releases version of MedWords Provider Workstation Shares issued 17,833,333 1999-03-09 close $0.8 Wednesday Mar 10 1999 Mr. Marc Rigby reports MedcomSoft is now shipping an OHIP V03 specification compliant version of its MedWorks Provider Workstation software. This version is an upgrade to the MedWorks physician billing package that will be provided to all current users at no charge. OHIP issued the V03 Specification for electronic billing in order to deal with year 2000 compliance issues. This new billing format takes effect July 19, 1999. All billing diskettes or electronic data transfers of health claims sent to the Ministry of Health after this date must be in the new V03 format.
