Right -- maybe we are looking a slightly different things. I don't expect them to be in lock step, or tightly coupled minute by minute or even day by day. But I don't trust this 'thing' as far as I can throw it, and in a short term uptrend that has buying panic potential, I don't want to be holding puts.

I think we will have to pay attention to this,

Have the Amzn shorts learned well?? If all the old short-shares (shares shorted prior to 6/98, Amzn had almost 9M presplit and 27M post split) were covered in January.

If we have learned our lessons, they better. Without short support, the long support will be "just that", not enough wind beneath the wings and it cannot fly.
