wvlax, i'm sitting here laughing my a$$ off again. VLAD asks often why other ED hopefuls has the valuations that they have when they are loosing tons of $$$$ and don't have FDA approved product yet. Answer, promise of pipeline. Yesterday's story is today's short if you can't back it up. Maybe VVUS getting ready to back things up with steady stream of hope. Patent, milestones sooner than later, gene therapy, China, and maybe domestic partner. This would all add up to improving profits today with higher expectations "hope" for tomorrow. Maybe this patent is sufficiently broad enough that VVUS ow have leadership advantage with women population. Hell, guys would be buying this stuff like crazy and applying it as part of foreplay seems to me. Beats the heck out of foreplay with MUSE! Maybe someone like Astra would now value VVUS at $600M today based on promise of new patents? I know this. The longs here are alot more comfortable than the shorts. We have been holding throughout and I expect that today the shorts were having to look hard for shares to borrow based on the low volume of the past several weeks B$ yesterday. Over on the Yahoo thread yesterday evening some dumba$$ short was trying to sell the thread that this new patent was essentially MUSE for the women. Total BS was being spread and I expect it to really pick up. They sort of have their pants down around the ankles. Never know. Only time will tell. Tomorrow will be interesting.
